Most interesting ideas sounds like ‘heresy’

When it comes to innovation and technology , the most interesting ideas in the world are thought-provoking and often sound like ‘heresy’ (various thinkers have said this in some form).

I wonder how many of these ‘heretic’ thoughts we bury in the back of our minds, scared to share them with the world, afraid that we will be considered heretics toward the current way of doing things.

The graveyard of great and original ideas is vast and full, but maybe we should resurrect them and allow the world to see and hear our contrarian ideas. Yes, the world might cast you aside and consider you a ‘heretical’ fool (it surely felt like that for me while inventing the core tech of my company).

Free of the fear of judgment, we can bring forth ideas that can change the world. Many remarkable things around us were created by ‘heretics’ of the world (they were considered heretics of their time, but now we know they brought novelty from which we all benefit).

Many times, that is the path of innovation: challenging the experts while being considered a ‘fool.’

It is painful to be rejected, but having contrarian ideas is valuable for the future, more than we all realize. Life is more abundant, interesting, and richer when new strange ideas are brought forth to the world. They often lead to unexplored paths, the ones you could pave, bringing things and innovations that the world has yet to see and benefit from.

Run the experiment and see…
