Build tech company with geeks

When you are building a tech company (in a start-up phase) one should always search a person who do a lot of geeky things in the dark. If the answer to your question “what you do in the dark” is: “I like to solve hard engineering problems” or “hard math and coding problems”, you have the person who do things just for pure love towards the science and engineering, finding inner satisfaction in solving hard problems (and all that easily translates to solving problems your company have).

When recruiting your tech team, try and ask a question: “What you do in the dark? When you are all alone and not distracted by the world?”. The answer may reveal an interesting new world hidden within your potentiate team member…
